Jane Palmer
Minnesota
Jane Palmer is the Program Director for Give Something Back Minnesota. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Corrections and Sociology, and a master’s degree in Human Services Planning and Administration. Jane brings extensive experience in working with youth and families affected by poverty, incarceration, trauma, and other barriers to overall well-being. This includes work in the criminal justice system, a non-profit mentoring program, and a disability program for adults and families with special needs. Jane has served on several community boards including the YMCA and FISH (Families and Individuals Sharing Hope). She is also a certified Bridges out of Poverty Trainer.  Jane’s passion for Give Something Back stems from her own experience being raised in a low-income family, where neither parent graduated from high school, and the life changing impact of education, mentors/coaches, and faith have had on her and her family.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, and anything sports!
