Kristina Varela joined Give Back as a Career Success Coach and Program Manager in January 2024. Kristina holds a Master’s degree in Administration of Justice with an emphasis in Criminal Behavior and Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, both received from Wilmington University. She has worked in the fields of Reentry and Residential Mental Health for over five years. Prior to coming to Give Back she worked at The Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, Community Justice Unit, focusing on reducing crime, improving quality of life through means of community involvement, and helping enhance relationships between law enforcement and the community with youth and adults. Kristina is passionate about helping students maximize their potential by supporting and assisting them in gaining effective strategies, resources, and behaviors that can support their personal and academic lives to achieve their future goals. Kristina has lived in New Jersey all her life. When Kristina is not working, she loves spending time with her three children and husband. They enjoy four wheeling, going to the beach, playing various sports for fun and competitively, taking care of all their pets, and family game nights.
