Lydia Matlock started with Give Back in 2017 to open our Kansas Chapter, recruiting our first cohort in Spring of 2018. Lydia is currently the Chief of Program Operations, assisting state directors with student programming, college relations, and staff development. Lydia graduated from Southeast Missouri State with Bachelor’s degrees in human environmental studies and criminal justice, moving directly to working in sales. That brought her to Higher Education, where she started in admissions and found a true passion for assisting students find, develop, and graduate with a clear pathway toward career success. After earning her Master’s degree in Psychology in 2013, Lydia continued to consult in higher education, assisting small private institutions establish and grow online programming to create income streams. After 10 years in Higher Education, Lydia wanted to work with students one on one to overcome the obstacles she saw in the education system and was excited to discover Give Back and their mission. When not working, Lydia enjoys time with her husband and three young children.
