Sarah Axelson (she/her) joined Give Something Back as a North Carolina Program Specialist in July of 2024. Sarah previously taught elementary school with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Before transitioning to her new role, Sarah was a professional school counselor. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, watching the sunrise, playing board games, and spending time with her fiancée and two children. Sarah is passionate about meeting students where they are and providing them with unconditional support while they work towards becoming the best versions of themselves.
