Susan Herbst-Murphy is retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Prior to joining the Fed, she managed credit and payment card programs for banks in the Midwest. Using knowledge of demographics and consumer trends, she produced research on young adult usage of credit, including student loans, and their preference of consumer payment methods.
