The Delaware location was started in 2015 due to a generous gift from Bob Carr to the University of Delaware. The donation allowed Give Back to partner with the University of Delaware to provide the opportunity for 150 Delaware students to attend the University of Delaware with a Give Back scholarship for four years. Scholars in the Give Back program received mentoring from volunteers, college preparatory activities during the school year, and continued guidance through college by Give Back staff. In 2021 Delaware launched Give Back Careers. Between the two programs Give Back Delaware has served over 180 scholars in the state.
